Biography:
Alex Marinack is
the oldest of 7 children from Arlington, Texas. She played
collegiate
volleyball and received her Elementary Education degree at Mississippi
College in Clinton, Mississippi. She taught a year of science
and was
the cheerleading sponsor at a school in Bentonia, Mississippi before
she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. Her first teaching
assignment
in Charlotte was Briarwood Elementary where she taught for 6 years in a
5th grade classroom. During this time, she also coached a
couple of
seasons at Charlotte Country Day for the junior varsity volleyball
team. She then transferred to Park Road Montessori to a 4-5
classroom
and started coaching Girls on the Run. This is her third year
at
Community Charter School as a 2-3 teacher and Girls on the Run coach.
