Biography:
Jodi Goodman was born in Richfield,
about an hour outside of Charlotte. She grew up in rural
North Carolina spending much of her childhood outdoors with her one
older brother and parents. After graduating high school, she
attended UNC-Charlotte as a NC Teaching Fellow to obtain her degree in
Elementary Education. While in college, Jodi was involved
with a volunteer organization, World Camp for Kids, where she traveled
to both Malawi and India to work with children in areas which would
benefit from primarily HIV/AIDS education, as well as environmental,
human rights, and gender equality education. After college,
Jodi began her teaching career at Community Charter School and is
currently in her second year of teaching. In her free time,
she enjoys traveling, dancing, hiking, practicing yoga, live music, and
spending time with loved ones.
